The third-generation iPad adds a Retina display, the new Apple A5X chip with a quad-core graphics processor, a 5 megapixel camera, full HD 1080p video recording, voice dictation, 4G and Siri. Windows RT will be a version of the Windows 8 operating system for ARM devices such as tablets.

Ipad is essentially a large ipod if you think about cant handle complicated tasks. Microsoft Surface Pro is basically a full desktop OS with complete versions of Office suite and can handle running full Adobe Creative Suite no contest.
